Forgive to be forgiven!
Posted by: Esther @ 9:13 pm

I personally want God to forgive me. For we all have sinned and fall short of the Glory of God Rom3:23

Since we were children we’ve been taught the Lord’s prayer. Mathew 6:9 -13

IN verse twelve it says “And forgive us our debt, as we forgive our debtors.” now verse 14 and 15” For if we forgive men their trespasses your heavenly father will also forgive you;

But if ye forgive not men their trespasses, neither  will your father forgive your trespasses. WOW! That is Gods word!

So if we want God’s forgiveness we must forgive. Then we obey God and his word. If we choose to ignore it, and not forgive, an unforgiving attitude, or spirit will bring unforgivness for ourselves.

Remember we fail God in so many ways for we sin with our body, mind and mouth. Yet God is ready to forgive us when we sincerely ask him daily to forgive us. “For thou Lord art good and ready to forgive; and plenteous in mercy unto all them that call upon thee. Psalms 86:5

It is God working in us and through us that will lead us to the point of forgiveness. When we go through something really serious, no matter how horrible or how bad the actions are God’s forgiveness is for everyone.

God is a forgiving God who forgives us and by his grace we too can participate in this power to change the past.

We too CAN and Must forgive!

Forgiveness is a divine power that will forever enrich us through the fruits of the spirit.

FORGIVE:

Pardon, excuse, set free, wipe the slate clean, cease to feel resentment, or let by gone be bygones.

Q. Is it that easy?

A. It will cost you!

Yes we will have to forget, forgive, and deny ourselves and pay the price.

SHELFISHNESS

When we put God’s way before our selfish ways, we will avoid unhappiness, bitterness, and emotional pain. We make the choice to do it!

When we forgive we will experience mental, physical and spiritual benefits. Then we will look at those who have hurt or pained us in a different light. God will give us the grace and strength. We cannot do it alone (only with God’s help).

Forgiveness is undeserved pardon. (we all fit in this category)

The person who learns to forgive before the molehill becomes a mountain, or before bitterness becomes an infection, is a blessed person.

Forgive and get back up after the blow, forgive before bitterness causes paralysis of the soul.

Jesus said in Matthew 18:7, 21, 22  It is impossible but that OFFENCES WILL COME:

(We will all go through them) but then he says, “I tell you forgive them not just once or seven times but seven times seventy.”  No matter what, forgive, and forgive, and forgive, and forgive, and forgive etc.

Jesus said if you do not forgive. Your heavenly father would not forgive YOU YOUR OFFENCES it is the only thing that will bring real peace back in to your life.

FORGIVE!

Forgiveness brings release to the forgiver!

Hurts that need forgiveness are those deep ones that built walls, cut deep in the heart of the soul. They cause emotional pain that will eventually result in physical pain. An upset mind equals and upset body. It takes quite a bit of mental energy and resources to keep hurtful memories alive.

In Ephesians 4:31-32 “Let all bitterness and wrath and anger and clamour and evil speaking be put away from you, with all malice. Yes even when a person turns against you as an enemy.

Who wants to live a life of malice, rage, anger, hate, bitterness, frustration, and rancor the rest of our lives? We will gain nothing and it will be a LOSE situation for it will make you a different person.

We will have NO peace, joy and happiness for all this hate will consume our thoughts

Chose a life of love (For God is Love) loving God and loving others is an eternal matter.

Forgive to be forgiven by God I wouldn’t want it any other way! It will restore us and give us inner peace with God and man and your life will never be the same again.

To those that have sinned and caused pain; Jesus always forgave them and told the sinner “Go and sin no more” John 8:10, 11

A FORGIVING LIFESTYLE:

Gives love where the enemy expects hate.

It gives understanding where the enemy anticipates revenge.

We will experience the miracle of God’s grace. The attributes of God himself will reach back into your hurting past and begin to let go of the pain.

“BLESSED ARE THEY WHOSE, SINS ARE FORGIVEN AND WHOSE, SINS ARE COVERED”.  Romans 4:7

“Be ye kind one to another, tender hearted forgiving one, another even as God for Christ sake has forgiven you.”

God’s word for ME has always been: “JUDGE NOT AND YE SHALL NOT BE JUDGED, CONDEMN NOT AND YE SHALL NOT BE CONDEMNED, FORGIVE AND YE SHALL BE FORGIVEN”.  Luke 6:37

GODS WORD IS TRUTH!

Psalms 78:38 “But he being full of compassion forgave their iniquity and destroyed them not ye many times turned he his anger away, and did not stir up his wrath.

FORGIVE TO BE FORGIVEN!
